These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PocketOracle mobile application ("the App"), created by Oaie Cornel-Sebastian ("we", "our", or "us") and provided as a freemium service on an "as is" basis. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App you confirm that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the App on a device owned by someone else (for example, a parent's or employer's device), you confirm that you have their permission to do so.
PocketOracle is an entertainment application. Oracle and Love Edition answers are selected at random from a built-in set of pre-written responses and are not generated by any artificial intelligence, human expert, or external advisor. Answers are not intended as, and must not be relied upon as, medical, legal, financial, psychological, spiritual, relationship, or any other kind of professional advice. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on content shown in the App.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on a device you own or control, for your own non-commercial use. You may not:
All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights in and to the App remain the property of the Service Provider.
The App is offered on a freemium basis. A free tier allows a limited number of questions per day; the specific limit and its reset interval are configured remotely and may change. A paid subscription ("Pro") unlocks additional features such as unlimited questions, Love Edition content, and other benefits as described in the App at the point of purchase.
Free users may choose to watch an optional rewarded video ad, provided by Google AdMob, to unlock an extra answer or a temporary Love Edition pass. Whether ads are available, the rewards offered, and how many rewards can be earned in a period are configured remotely and may change at any time. Rewards have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or refunded.
All subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period and at the same price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in accordance with the App Store or Google Play rules. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the subscription settings of your App Store or Google Play account. Deleting the App does not cancel an active subscription.
Refund requests are handled by the App Store or Google Play in accordance with their policies. We have no direct control over refunds and may be unable to process them on your behalf.
We may update the App from time to time to add features, fix bugs, or adapt to new operating-system requirements. In some cases you will need to download updates to continue using the App, and certain older operating-system versions may no longer be supported. We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, compatible with your device, or free of errors. We may also discontinue the App, or terminate your access to it, at any time and without prior notice. On termination, your rights under these Terms end and you must stop using the App and (if necessary) delete it from your device.
Certain features of the App require an active internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data). We are not responsible for the App failing to work at full capacity due to unavailable or insufficient connectivity. If you use the App over mobile data or while roaming, your mobile carrier's terms and charges apply; you are responsible for any such charges, including roaming fees. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you use the App, we assume that you have obtained permission from the bill payer. You are also responsible for keeping your device charged, secure, and up to date. We strongly advise against jailbreaking or rooting your device, as doing so may compromise the App's security and functionality.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. We do not warrant that the content displayed in the App is accurate, current, or suitable for your needs. Because we rely in part on third-party services to deliver the App, we accept no liability for any direct or indirect loss you experience as a result of relying on information or functionality provided through those services.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App — whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory — even if the Service Provider has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, our liability shall be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Romania, unless a mandatory law of your country of residence requires otherwise.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If a change materially reduces your rights, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, for example via an in-app notice.
If you obtained the App from the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply and, in the event of any conflict, prevail over the other terms of this Agreement:
